Dr. Alice Chan
Dr. Chan has been in Calgary most of her life after immigrating from Hong Kong as a young baby.
She graduated from WCVM in Saskatoon in 2007 and has worked for many years previously at Crowfoot and Rockyridge Pet Hospitals.
She enjoys her surgery days but also has interests in palliative and senior care. Proactive, preventative medicine is her focus and she enjoys building trusting and close relationships with her clients.
In her spare time, Dr. Chan volunteers with the Canadian Animal Task Force as seen in this cute photo! And she loves her orchids and gardening, travelling and birding.
She always seems to have 5 pets, even when she is trying not to… and currently has 3 crazy dogs Bosley, Pebbles and Lewis and 2 cats Ruby and Olive. All rescues she has adopted unplanned. Not recommended!
Natasha Perry
Natasha grew up in Prince George, BC and decided to move to Calgary in 2010. She's always had a love for animals and wanted to pursue a career in the veterinary industry. After obtaining her veterinary office assistant diploma, she continued her education and completed the animal health technology program at Thompson Rivers University in 2019. She has worked with Dr. Chan for over 6 years.
She enjoys taking her two dogs, Guinness (a chocolate lab) and Indie (a German Shepherd x Husky), to the river, camping, hiking, and on road trips back to BC to visit her family. She also loves to hang out at home and watch movies with her 2 little kitty cats Mi Moo and Sprinkles.
Allison McKay
Allison has worked in the veterinary industry part time since 2010 while she was in University, both as a client care coordinator and veterinary assistant. She met Dr. Chan in 2014 and has been working alongside her for many years. She is now a full time high school math and science teacher who still loves animals and the veterinary medicine field. Allison has 3 dogs (2 pomsky’s and a black lab), 2 cats, and 2 horses. She spends her summers camping and trail riding in the mountains, and has just had a baby boy in March 2023!
